We'll be awarding our signature award: Live Your Dream Award as well as our Ruby Award. We will also be recognizing our Lennie Mills Memorial Scholarship, our High School Scholarship and our Tech Trek Scholarship recipients.

We welcome the community to join us for this informative celebration dinner!

KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFE!

Our Club will, in collaboration with PreventionWorks, deliver six sessions of human trafficking awareness, anti-bullying and self-esteem building to a local middle school March - April 2019!!!

A Chocolate Affair 2019 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS - We could not have put on this fundraiser without the help of the El Dorado High School Athletic Boosters!!

Ruby Award Winner $1,000 Selected: SHERRY WHALEN.

Sherry fearlessly works on the frontlines of fighting poverty and to help women and children here in El Dorado County (EDC). Her commitment to women and their families is courageous. She has led many on this journey of helping people with their battle of addiction, homelessness. Her application has been submitted to our Region for further consideration.

Live Your Dream Winner $2,500 Selected: ELIZABETH MOORE.

Elizabeth is a student at Folsom Lake College now and has been accepted at Sac State in the Fall! She is a single mother of a 3 year old and has overcome her share of obstacles to do so. Her application has been submitted to our Region for further consideration.

Looking for applicants for our Ruby Award ($1,000). This award honors non-Soroptimist women who are making extraordinary efforts on behalf of other women. This award gives the club and the entire organization the opportunity to say “thank you” and encourage others to explore ways to assist women. Filing Deadline 12/15/2018.

The Soroptimist Ruby Award recipient should be a woman who:

Has worked to improve the lives of women and girls;
Has had a significant impact on the lives of women and girls;
Inspires and encourages other women.
