SOROPTIMIST PLACERVILLE CLUB SEEKS WOMEN WHO HAVE MADE EXTRAORDINARY DIFFERENCES ON BEHALF OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN OUR COMMUNITY
Soroptimist International of Placerville (SIP) is searching for applicants for its Soroptimist Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women, which honors women who—through their professional or personal activities—make exceptional efforts on behalf of women and girls. Women can nominate themselves or another woman in the community.
Soroptimist Delivered Human Trafficking Awareness Training to EDCO Transit
Soroptimist International of Placerville members Lynne, Deb & Kaye presented human trafficking awareness training to El Dorado Transit staff. Attendees were attentive and focused on the presentation; all scored 100% on the "quiz".
New Member Induction - Kathi & Stacey
President Lynne was thrilled to Induct New Members Kathi Guerrero and Stacey Caso-Turk in December & January. They are amazing women; we're thrilled to have them join our club.
UPDATE: Deputy Ishmael Fundraiser - $3,500
Final numbers are in!!! We're pleased to report that our December 15th fundraiser hosted by Mother Lode Lion's Club and Soroptimist International of Placerville raised $3,500 for the Deputy Ishmael Memorial Fund.
